The first mistake is not taking into account the dimensions of the furniture. It may seem to the eye that a massive sofa fits into the place you have determined for it. But in reality, it turns out that you will only scratch the floor in vain while moving it.
The second drawback is sacrificing functionality for the sake of beauty. That is, for example, you decide to move your desk in the office away from the window, which will inevitably affect your vision later.
The third mistake is ignoring small pieces of furniture. The main thing is not only to move the sofa, but also to change the location of the coffee table and chairs: you will see, the interior will immediately be transformed.
The fourth drawback is the lack of lighting. Daylight is good, but often it is really not enough, and it is worth considering installing a few additional sconces or a floor lamp in a free corner.
The fifth flaw is ignoring the convenience of your household. Yes, a luxurious sofa standing in the middle of the living room may be beautiful, but if everyone trips over it, you will start thinking about beauty at the last moment.
