Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese method that helps balance your home, and the bedroom is especially worth paying attention to.

If it is properly arranged, it promotes harmony in your personal life and also dispels negative energies so that beneficial energy, or qi, can flow freely.

Here are 9 tips to help you properly arrange your bedroom, says Yulia Tychino .

Headrest

You will need a solid headboard, which can be wooden or upholstered. It is both comfortable and reassuring, so it is excellent from an energetic point of view. While you sleep, your body is regenerating. Subconsciously, your brain also needs support, as does your back.

Mattress

There are different mattresses available in stores, but buy the one that will provide you with the best rest. The more peacefully you sleep, the more energy you will have during the day. From a Feng Shui perspective, you should not buy a used mattress, as it can accumulate negative energy.

Bed height

Make sure your bed is at the right height. For the energy flow to be adequate, the bed needs to be at the right height. In general, beds with full-length linen shelves are not very good because the negative energy does not go under the bed, but circulates around your body.

The bed should be close to the door.

Don't place the bed right next to the door, but don't place it in front of it either. It's best if it's positioned slightly diagonally in relation to the door. It's best if you push the bed against the wall, with the door in the opposite corner.

If your bed is too close to the door, you are always at risk of being disturbed by some unpleasant surprise. Ideally, when you wake up, the door should be immediately in your line of sight so that you feel in control of the events of your life.

If possible, place nightstands on both sides of the bed.
This will create balance during sleep, and you can also place a night light on the bedside tables to give the bedroom a pleasant light.

It is important to create balance in the bedroom, as this is especially important in love relationships. Ideally, the edge of the nightstand should be rounded or oval, rather than square, this ensures a more appropriate flow of energy.

Your bed should not be located near a TV, table, or other distractions.

Ideally, there should be no TV or desk in the bedroom at all, as this will make it much easier for you to get a good night's sleep. If these things are still in the bedroom, it is worth placing them as far away from the bed as possible. Place a soft tablecloth on the TV or desk to bring positive energy into the bedroom.

Don't put a mirror next to your bed.

If there is a mirror in the bedroom that you cannot get rid of, then cover it with something. Because if you do not do this, it can disturb your sleep. If you are in a love relationship, it is worth removing the mirror from the bedroom, because it often opens the way to cheating.

Don't place an aquarium or a picture of water in your bedroom.

All these should be left out of the bedroom as water items can lead to potential financial loss or even robbery. If you want excellent feng shui energy, these items should be placed in other parts of the house.

There should be no flowers in the bedroom.

Plants have too much Yang energy, which makes for restless sleep at night because it makes you active. If you can't place the flowers somewhere else, at least keep them out of sight when you go to bed.

Put the books somewhere else

You can have your favorite books in your bedroom, but too many books can make you even more tired. The bedroom is a place of rest and relaxation, not a place of work and reading.
