How the Paint Color Trick Works
Interior designers recommend choosing paint that is 1–100% darker or lighter to achieve the perfect shade of color.
For example, if you want a slightly darker color, choose a color that is 25% darker than the sample. Any more and it will be very dark in reality.
Depending on the lighting tones and the amount of natural light in the room, you may need to test several shades, mix them, and combine levels before choosing the final color.
