Reasons
Experienced veterinarians advise against hand feeding of pets. And there are a number of objective reasons for this.
Firstly, when a cat eats from your hands, it gets used to it. Such a food habit can become an instinct.
And if, for example, you need to leave for a couple of weeks and you ask someone to come and feed the animal, it may start to starve. All because it is used to eating from your hands.
Secondly, you can only give your cat solid food from your hands. But you must not forget that it, like any other animal, needs moisture, therefore, it will not receive enough of it.
Thirdly, in this case, food enters the animal's body incorrectly. And this is fraught with both indigestion and the formation of an incorrect bite.
