Any domestic cat is a wild and untamable animal at heart, which forces them, like their distant ancestors, to obtain food and water on their own.
Pets with developed instincts will refuse to drink water where they eat and will try to find another source of water.
In most cases, this will be a tap in the bathtub or sink, but do not rush to open it, cats like the smell and taste of chlorine, but such water can do more harm than good to your pet.
It is not difficult to solve this problem, just put a bowl of water where your cat likes to spend time: on a windowsill, a closet, or even several bowls in different places, but do not forget to regularly change the water.
