Dogs are curious animals and show interest in anything that moves quickly.
It is therefore not surprising that dogs often suffer from insect bites.
We figure out what an owner should do if his dog was bitten by a wasp or a bee.
What to do if a dog is stung by a bee
Let's start with the fact that multiple bites can indeed be dangerous. And if your pet is attacked by a swarm of stinging insects, it is better to go to the vet afterwards.
A simple single bite is usually not dangerous to a dog. You should remove the stinger if you are dealing with a bee and apply a pain-relieving compress.
To do this, you need to soak a cloth in a weak soda solution or apply a piece of ice wrapped in a piece of cloth to the affected area.
However, if you notice that the dog is breathing heavily and gradually weakening, and a large swelling has formed at the site of the bite, this may indicate an allergic reaction.
In this case, you need to contact a specialist for help.
