However, not all pets are equally good to keep at home.
The famous British dog expert Will Atherton named the top 4 dog breeds that he would never have in his apartment.
According to Surrey Live , Atherton is an experienced dog trainer with more than 900,000 followers on social media.
He listed for his readers the dog breeds that, in his opinion, are not suitable for keeping at home.
The list includes:
- Caucasian Shepherd Dog;
- Siberian Husky;
- Chihuahua;
- English Cocker Spaniel.
As for the shepherd, Atherton called the dog very strong and intelligent, but due to their distrust of strangers, they may have problems with aggression.
The dog trainer does not like Huskies because of their character, which is too similar to that of a cat.
Chihuahuas are highly trainable, Atherton believes, but their fragile frame means they are at risk of injury in everyday life.
The cynologist put the cocker spaniel in 4th place because these hunting dogs can be overly active at home.
