Biasi took the following into account when constructing the equation:

In this case, m > 0 is the mass of the cat, ϵ > 0 is the coefficient of friction to take into account the cat’s fatigue.
The scientist considered the purring of a cat as a mechanism of interaction with a person.
When petted, the cat begins to purr, and people feel the desire to continue petting.
According to Biasi, this increases the stability of the process.
