Some scientists believe that when a dog looks at its human, it receives a dose of oxytocin, the hormone of joy. The effect is thought to be similar to a child's gaze on its mother.
There are a number of telltale signs that indicate that your dog is attached to you:
- a close look into a person's eyes;
- constantly looking back at the owner during a walk;
- the pet's tail deviates more to the right than to the left;
- quick response to the owner's call or command.
But the following signs indicate true love. For example, if a dog misses its owner very much and always rushes to meet him from work - this is definitely a manifestation of unconditional love.
This is also indicated by the fact that the dog adores its owner’s things and constantly tries to settle down next to him to sleep or rest.
