When a dog appears in the house, a natural question immediately arises: how often should you walk your pet?
Let's sort out the intricacies of dog training once and for all.
Why walk a dog?
Besides the obvious reason, which is natural need, there are two more factors why you need to walk your dog constantly.
Firstly, it is maintaining the dog's physical fitness. The dog will release energy outside and will not be mischievous at home.
Secondly, on the street the dog socializes, meeting other animals and people.
How often to walk a dog
It all depends primarily on the age of the dog. A four-month-old puppy needs 4 to 6 walks a day, since its bladder is not yet fully developed and requires more frequent walks.
An adult dog needs 2-3 walks a day, the duration of which should be at least 10-15 minutes.
