How to remove tangles from a cat
There may be several reasons for the appearance of tangles. Among them are intense shedding, hyperfunction of the animal's sebaceous glands, changes in the hair structure, etc.
In any case, you need to get rid of them as soon as possible, since the tangles will not go away on their own and will only get bigger.
To remove the tangle, you will need:
- special tangle cutter or manicure scissors;
- wide-tooth comb;
- special glove for combing.
The first thing you need to do is wet the tangle and try to untangle it with a comb.
If you can't untangle it, then you need to carefully cut the lump off with scissors. If the mat is too close to the animal's skin, it's better not to risk it and contact a professional groomer.
