Brushing your dog is a must to keep your pet's coat looking beautiful and healthy.
To do this, it is important to follow several rules, which differ depending on the type of animal's fur.
Shorthaired dogs
Pugs, Dobermans and other breeds with short hair should be combed daily in a gentle manner and thoroughly - twice a week.
For this purpose, a massage glove or a brush with bristles made of natural material is used.
Medium haired dogs
Rottweilers and Labradors can be brushed only twice a week, but with one caveat: during the shedding season, this should be done as often as possible.
Use a comb or a brush with rubber bristles for this.
Longhaired dogs
Collies, chows and other long-haired breeds need gentle daily brushing to avoid tangles. These dogs can be brushed thoroughly once a week.
To groom the coat, use a slicker brush, a wide-tooth comb, or a comb with a curved surface.
