Many pet owners wonder whether their animals understand what is happening on the TV screen.

Animal vision is structured completely differently, and therefore they also perceive images on the screen differently.

We figure out why some cats and dogs show a keen interest in television, while others ignore it.

What do pets see on the screen?

Although animals' vision is structured differently, in general, they see the same thing as we do. With one exception: pets perceive this picture differently.

When we see a butterfly or a bird on the screen, we simply admire their beauty. And the cat will be interested in watching it, considering the small moving object as potential prey.

Animals cannot perceive the full spectrum of colors like humans. However, cats can distinguish between red, green, and blue.

Therefore, if a picture is shown on the TV screen where the above colors predominate, it will attract the animal's attention.
