It is noted that if the outdoor thermometer shows below 20 degrees Celsius, then the dog can safely be left in the car for 5 minutes. At temperatures above 20 degrees, the pet cannot be left alone.
It is also known that in hot weather, the car interior begins to resemble a greenhouse. In such conditions, even a few minutes can be dangerous for the animal.
According to Golubev, a dog being in a hot car can lead to its death.
He noted that if a pet is found locked in a car, it is important to find the owner. This process can be accelerated with the help of the police or security.
