Many people say that pets are like their owners. Let's figure out which animal is closer to your liking, and with whom you will get along better, and which one you should not have. Let's get started.

Cats: Why Are They Better For Introverts?

When it comes to cats, what do we first imagine? Willfulness, grace, and independence. And if the cat lived with a loving owner, you can also notice playfulness and friendliness in them, but often these qualities are directed only at one person.

Cats are freedom-loving animals, so unlike dogs, they will not play with just anyone who shows them attention.

They choose one or more life partners with whom they spend most of their time.

What is the reason for their choice?

In fact, it's simple - cats choose people who are more similar to them.

If you are also freedom-loving, do not pay much attention to cats and respect their personal space, then they will reach out to you. After all, as was said earlier, cats are "on their own", and you are more like a hunting partner for them than the master of the pack.

So, cats are more of an introvert's choice than an extrovert's. After all, if you like solitude and don't let many people near you, then with a cat you will clearly feel more comfortable and not create stressful situations for your pet.

Also, cats are somewhat easier to care for, since they don’t need to be walked every day.

Dogs: Why Are They Better for Extroverts?

As we know, dogs are descended from wolves, but what qualities did they inherit from their ancestors? First of all, when it comes to dogs, we can highlight: pack spirit, playfulness (much greater than that of cats) and restlessness.

They are also more loyal to training, because if the dog has accepted you as the leader of its pack, then it will recognize your leadership.

So why might your choice fall on dogs?

The qualities inherent in dogs were described earlier, you must agree that this is more like an extroverted person.

Unlike cats, dogs are more likely to form packs and have difficulty sitting still. If you are a sociable, active person, then dogs are your choice.

After all, the dog will be more comfortable with such an owner, and you will enjoy the joyful reaction of your four-legged friend when you return home.

But, at the same time, keep in mind that a dog requires more serious care, because if the animal is a large breed, it will clearly not be able to go to the litter box.

So who should I choose?

This article describes only our recommendations. Your choice can be anything, the main thing is that your pet is comfortable next to you, and then it can become your true friend! Choose an animal wisely.
