Many cat owners who feed their animals natural products think about the benefits of raw meat.
Not all owners actually know what form of meat products are healthier for animals.
Let's figure out whether it's worth giving your cat raw meat or whether it's better to refrain from this step.
Can you feed a cat raw meat?
It is believed that the raw product has a number of incomparable advantages over the cooked one.
In particular, the fibers of raw products help to keep the teeth of the little predator in order, and also have a positive effect on the animal’s intestines.
You can safely include raw turkey meat, as well as chicken, rabbit, beef and lamb in your pet’s diet.
But if we talk about raw pork, it is better to abstain from it. This also includes goose and duck meat, which can contribute to the development of pancreatitis and obesity.
You shouldn't get carried away with offal either. The exceptions are chicken skin and bones: these products are difficult to digest and can harm your pet's stomach.
