The cold winter with snow and blizzards is behind us, so you can breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy the spring.
With the arrival of warm weather, many birds began to return to their native lands.
Seagulls and rooks have begun to fly to the Moscow Region. The Moscow Agency reports the details with reference to the press service of the regional Ministry of Ecology and Nature Management and Minister Tikhon Firsov.
It is noted that the first birds to decide to return from warm countries were greenfinches, common gulls and rooks.
According to the press service, some experts believe that the birds arrived early. This is due to the onset of warm weather and the arrival of early spring. Others believe that the birds were in the region all winter.
It is added that the remaining birds should return to their native places by mid-spring.
Firsov concluded that specialists are monitoring the arrival of birds.
