Veterinarians from the Moscow Region provided assistance to a waterfowl - a coot. The details are reported by the Agency "Moscow" with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region and the veterinary inspector of the region Sergei Voskresensky.
It is noted that the bird was lying near one of the houses with a damaged wing. Soon it was noticed by a woman who decided to tell the veterinarians about it.
It is also known that specialists responded promptly to the request, and therefore soon examined the coot.
According to Voskresensky, the bird received medical care. Its life is not in danger now.
It is added that the coot is currently undergoing treatment at a veterinary station. When she gets better, she will be released into the wild.
The coot is a bird from the rail family. It lives in Australia and North Africa.
