Winter has passed, leaving behind severe frosts and snowdrifts.

With the arrival of spring, animals began to shed their “winter clothes”.

Forest dwellers of the Moscow region have begun to shed their fur. The Moscow Agency reports details with reference to the press service of the regional Ministry of Ecology and Nature Management, with reference to the Minister of Ecology and Nature Management of the Moscow region Tikhon Firsov.

It is noted that in the Moscow region, most of the animals living in the forests have begun to shed their fur, preparing for the warm season. Among such inhabitants are moose, badgers, squirrels, and hares.

According to the press service, the period of shedding excess fur is a difficult period for animals. At this time, they begin to experience severe stress.
