Despite this, you can prepare each dog for the trip. This should be done in advance: accustom the pet to the carrier, study the rules of staying in hotels.
According to Golubev, it is important to monitor the health of the animal. If there are any illnesses, it is better to postpone the trip or leave the pet at home with professionals.
You should also consider the climate. Some dogs feel comfortable in cold places, while others have a hard time with heat.
The RKF President also noted that it is important for the owner to teach the dog basic commands so that the trip is comfortable and safe.
He added that the following dog breeds are optimal for travel: Jack Russell Terrier, Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Sheltie, Labrador Retriever.
