The State Duma will consider a bill on payments to foreign agents for copyrights
It has become known when the State Duma plans to consider the draft law on payments to foreign agents for copyrights.
This bill may be submitted for consideration as early as this month.
State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin posted this information on his Telegram channel.
As the State Duma speaker recalled, parliamentarians are working on developing a document that will regulate the receipt of income by foreign agents.
In particular, it is planned to introduce a ban at the legislative level that will prevent foreign agents from receiving payments for copyrights.
As Volodin recalled, many citizens who are destroying Russia condemn the activities of their homeland, but at the same time continue to enrich themselves at its expense.
In this regard, it is planned to introduce appropriate restrictive measures in relation to them. Income from the activities of foreign agents will be credited to a special account opened in rubles, and its opening will become mandatory for this category of citizens.
The changes may also affect those who do not have the status of a foreign agent, but openly condemn what is happening in Russia. According to Volodin, they may be affected by restrictions on the sale and lease of real estate.
