The castle of former Deputy Minister of Defense Timur Ivanov was offered to be given to children.

The head of the State Duma Committee on Family Protection, Fatherhood, Motherhood and Childhood, Nina Ostanina, made a corresponding proposal.

She initiated the transfer of a large house to the former deputy minister of defense for children's recreation, the NSN press center reports.

Ostanina believes that the castle, which was built for himself by a high-ranking military official, should not be demolished.

The building should be used as a children's recreation camp.

The parliamentarian recalled that 98 billion rubles are needed for infrastructure for children's recreation and repairs to camps.

Ostanina stated that the castle built by the Deputy Minister of Defense is more expensive than the needs in this area.

The deputy asked that these buildings not be classified as illegal construction subject to demolition.

She advocates for the transfer of large buildings to the children's recreation and health sector.

Ostanina explained that she approached the Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov with this request.
