The State Duma has banned accepting bets from debtors and minors
The State Duma adopted the new bill in the first reading.
The document concerns several prohibitions on betting, which will become unavailable to certain categories of citizens.

According to media reports, the document was submitted for consideration by its authors, senators Andrei Kutepov and Alexander Trembitsky.
The initiators of the bill proposed to prohibit participation in gambling for the following categories of citizens:
- persons under 18 years of age;
- persons who, for any reason, have limited legal capacity;
- citizens who evade paying alimony and other decisions of enforcement proceedings.
It is noted that gambling establishments and bookmakers are given the right to demand that citizens belonging to the above-mentioned categories leave the gambling establishment.
The Russian government will approve this bill if it is revised. The Cabinet of Ministers proposes to extend the restriction to participation in gambling games held in gambling establishments, and not just to bookmakers and betting shops.
