The State Duma approved a bill on checking the passports of employees with access to state secrets
The State Duma has approved a new bill concerning people who have access to state secrets.
The law approving the verification of citizens’ documents was adopted in the first reading.
Deputy Chairman of the Security Committee Vasily Piskarev Anatoly Vyborny wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
He noted that an initiative had been approved according to which employers have the right to check the passports of certain categories of their employees.
We are talking about those who have access to state secrets and can pose a threat to their disclosure.
Vyborny explained that by comparing the existing permits with the signature of the citizen's manager, it will be easy to determine whether the employee's departure was authorized, if he suddenly left the Russian Federation.
This measure was taken for a reason, since cases of unauthorized exits occur from time to time and therefore require control.
Earlier it was reported that it was proposed to strip deputies of their mandates for uncoordinated trips abroad.
