The safest city in Russia has been named

In Russia, a city has been identified that can be called the safest in the country.

This status was given to Vladikavkaz, its mayor Vyacheslav Mildzikhov reported on his Telegram channel.

The head of the city said that the safest city was determined by experts from the Financial University under the Government of Russia.

They considered Vladikavkaz to be the safest city in the country.

The Vladikavkaz administration received the corresponding honorary award from the hands of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the Central Federal District Igor Shchegolev and the University Rector Stanislav Prokofiev.

Mildzikhov emphasized that the residents of Vladikavkaz value this award and consider it a serious achievement.

However, the mayor noted that there is no need to stop there.

The mayor believes that securing Vladikavkaz's status as the safest city in the country is an incentive for development and growth.

The city was also placed on par with Moscow, Kazan, St. Petersburg and Sochi in terms of quality of life.

Mildzikhov added that Vladikavkaz has a rich culture, interesting history and a great future.
