The city of Krasnodar Krai has broken into the top of the most expensive beach resorts in Russia.

The rating was compiled by the Association of Travel Aggregators (ATAG).

Adler has been recognized as the most expensive city for a beach holiday in Russia, TASS reports.

According to analysts, the average cost of a room in local hotels is 11 thousand rubles per day.

Abrau-Dyurso took second place, where vacationers pay an average of 8.1 thousand rubles per night in local hotels.

Yalta is not far behind, taking third place - 7.6 thousand rubles. Sochi and Gelendzhik entered the top 5 - 5.9 thousand rubles each.

The most budget-friendly options are Crimean resorts such as Feodosia (3.8 thousand), Sudak (3.5 thousand), Kerch (3.1 thousand).

According to 2023 data, domestic tourism in the country grew by 20% and reached 78 million trips.

Experts say domestic travel demand has successfully recovered from COVID restrictions and exceeded pre-COVID levels.
