In order to safely cook shashlik, it is important for people to use a sheet of metal, laying it under the grill. The details are reported by the Moscow Agency with reference to the director of the department of supervision and preventive work of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Sergei Voronov.
It is noted that the distance from the house to the barbecue should be at least 5 meters. In addition, within a radius of 2 meters, it is necessary to remove garbage and dry grass.
According to Voronov, many summer cottages are located in peat areas. In such an area, you can make shashlik, but only if you have a metal sheet.
He noted that for safety reasons, one or more large containers of water can be placed near the barbecue.
It is added that after cooking the shashlik, it is important not to forget to keep an eye on the coals so that the wind does not blow them in the other direction.
