The Investigative Committee interrogated the victims in the case of the attempted murder of Simonyan and Sobchak
Investigative bodies have questioned three victims in the case of the attack on RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan and journalist Ksenia Sobchak.
It is reported that this concerns attempts to eliminate Simonyan and Sobchak by Ukrainian special services in July 2023.
The investigation explained: “A total of eight criminals have been arrested in this case,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
In addition, law enforcement officials indicated that weapons of various calibers, including bladed weapons, as well as handcuffs, were confiscated from the defendants.
Investigation of a crime
As the detainees later emphasized, they were entitled to a reward for the contract killing.
Thus, according to the criminals, the SBU was supposed to pay the defendants 1.5 million rubles for each murder.
At present, the details of the questioning of the victims in the case of the attack on Sobchak and Simonyan have not been disclosed.
Investigative measures are being carried out to establish all the circumstances of this case.
