The Investigative Committee spoke about a new type of fraudster in Russia.

Now dishonest people are trying to deceive SVO participants who want to receive cash payments.

The official representative of the Russian Investigative Committee, Svetlana Petrenko, issued this warning, RIA Novosti reports.

As the department found out, fake web resources with the symbols of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation began to appear on the Internet.

These sites contain information on how, for a certain fee, one can allegedly apply for assistance with payments for participants in the special operation.

Those wishing to receive payments are asked to fill in personal data and then pay for the services of intermediaries, allegedly for fulfilling requests for payments.

The Investigative Committee emphasized that the fake pages are designed in a similar style to the official pages of the Investigative Committee.

In this regard, Petrenko reminded that under no circumstances should money be transferred to such organizations.
