Vitaly Khotsenko shared this information on his Telegram channel.
As the head of the Omsk region noted, recently there have been significantly more cases when people are trying to deceive him in his name. He learned about this from his acquaintances, who warned him about the danger.
In this case, attackers use video calls received via various messengers.
Khotsenko emphasized that he practically does not use video communication and does not have the habit of calling people using instant messengers.
In this regard, the head of the Omsk region warned about the danger of such calls and called on everyone who has encountered such phenomena not to answer them.
The governor also asked that the actions of fraudsters not be left unpunished and that each case be immediately reported to the police.
