Eating more than two apples a day can lead to health problems, including gastritis and ulcers. The Moscow Agency reports details, citing Lyudmila Sukhorukova, a gastroenterologist at the Vidnovskaya Clinical Hospital.
It is noted that to get the greatest benefit in the absence of gastrointestinal problems, it is worth eating a fresh apple with the peel.
According to Sukhorukova, there is no need to cut apples into pieces, as this reduces the amount of vitamin C.
She noted that apples can be eaten with seeds. The reason for this is the iodine content in them.
Despite the benefits of apples, it is not recommended to consume them in large quantities. Otherwise, it can lead to a number of diseases, including inflammation of the gallbladder, gastritis, colitis, problems with tooth enamel.
It is added that to prevent enamel problems, you need to rinse your mouth after eating an apple.
