New Russian buildings in cities with over a million inhabitants have increased in price.

During the first half of the year, their price rose by almost 6%.

Currently, people can pay up to 164 thousand rubles on average for 1 square meter of a new Russian building. RIA Real Estate reports the details with reference to Yandex Real Estate Director Evgeny Belokurov.

It is noted that, based on the results of the first half of the current year, the cities in which prices have increased significantly are the following: Omsk, Ufa, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod.

According to Belokurov, the market structure is changing in Nizhny Novgorod. This is due to the fact that the city is located close to Moscow, and investors are showing active interest.

He noted that in this city, comfort-class new buildings make up the majority of the market – 60%, and the elite and business segment – 40%.

The director also noted that Ufa also has a business and elite segment – 24 objects out of 94 projects under construction.
