Storm warning issued in Tuva due to extreme heat
In some republics the temperature is decreasing, but in Tuva there is still intense heat.
Fortunately, citizens are warned about adverse weather in advance.
In Tuva, there is a strong heat wave. In connection with this, a storm warning was introduced. Details are reported by TASS with reference to the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It is noted that forecasters are predicting hot weather on August 8 and 9, Thursday and Friday respectively. During the daytime, thermometers will show +35 degrees and above.
The regional dispatch service of Tuva also reported that a class 4 fire hazard has now been recorded.
They also noted that on Thursday morning there were 20 fires that had broken out in the forests. People and equipment were engaged in extinguishing them. The number of the former was 229 people, and the latter - 38 units.
It is added that the fire was helped to be extinguished by employees of the Krasnoyarsk Forest Protection Base. On Friday, employees of the Avialesookhrana of the Irkutsk Region are expected to arrive to help.
