The State Duma has called for tough measures to be taken against parents of quad bike children.
The State Duma deputy believes that this hobby is dangerous, and therefore parents and guardians should be punished for encouraging it.
The corresponding document was received by the RIA Novosti agency.
Earlier, a video appeared on social networks, which subsequently attracted the attention of the police.
In his footage, a resident of Omsk was on a walk with her child. The woman's son was on a leash and pretending to be a dog.
State Duma deputy Sergei Kolunov considered this unacceptable and sent an official letter to the office of the Russian Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights.
The author of the initiative believes that the movement “quad-banging”, which is the copying of the behavior of domestic pets, is considered dangerous and should be banned in Russia.
According to Kolunov, families that encourage quad-boarding should be punished. He proposed introducing administrative and criminal liability, including deprivation of parental rights.
