He spoke about the ineffectiveness of weapons for self-defense if they are not at hand at the moment of danger.
The MP explained that he has a pistol and a gas canister, but they only protect you if you carry them with you.
The day before, Matveyev found himself at the center of a conflict between Samara residents and migrants.
He got out of his car while driving through the city to prevent a fight. The migrants, who were the instigators of the conflict, hit him on the head and fled.
The police identified and detained three hooligans, including a minor.
