Sberbank has warned Russians about new fraudulent schemes that will soon spread in Russia.

Innovative technologies, such as neural networks, will be actively used to deceive citizens.

This forecast was made by Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Stanislav Kuznetsov during the SOC Forum 2024 cybersecurity forum, RIA Novosti reports.

Kuznetsov named the fraudulent trends that Russians will have to face in 2025.

Firstly, the expert believes, fraudsters will readily resort to deceiving people with the help of modern technologies, using deepfakes.

Secondly, the criminal world will continue to attack organizations, economic sectors and structural divisions.

The third trend, Kuznetsov believes, will remain the game of people’s trust.

To avoid possible consequences of deception, it is necessary to work on increasing the cyber literacy of Russians and, in particular, conduct explanatory talks with young people.
