It is noted that the photograph from the cockpit was published by the Telegram channel Baza, and attracted the attention of the Novosibirsk Transport Prosecutor's Office with this information.
According to media reports, the pilot was distracted by watching the races not just during the flight, but at the moment when the plane was landing in Novosibirsk. According to preliminary data, the incident occurred on board the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Novosibirsk flight, which was carried out on December 2.
As S7 Airlines clarified, when the aircraft reaches an altitude of 3,000 meters, one of the pilots remains at the controls, while the other has free time.
At this point, the second pilot may visit the restroom, take a meal, or take a break at his own discretion.
