Russians were told how much and when payments to mothers will change.
Families will be able to count on the sum of 1 million rubles in just 3 years.
State Duma member Svetlana Bessarab spoke about this in an interview with the Parliamentary Newspaper .
On the eve of Mother's Day, which is celebrated in Russia on November 24, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs revealed what maternity capital depends on.
According to Bessarab, the size of maternity capital depends on the actual level of inflation, not the forecast.
It is noted that this refers to the payment for the second child, if the family did not receive maternity capital for the first.
The amount of maternity capital in 2025 will be:
- for the first child the family receives a payment of 676 thousand rubles;
- the birth of a second child will bring 893 thousand rubles to the family.
