Russians Stranded on Antarctic Cruise Demand Full Refund of Tour Cost
New details have emerged about the Russian tourists stuck on the SH Diana liner.
Russian citizens wrote a collective letter demanding that the Swan Hellenic company return the full cost of the tour.
This was reported by the RIA Novosti agency, which received the corresponding video message.
According to tourists, the ship they are on went out to sea already broken. As noted by people on board the SH Diana, the ship lacks stabilization, which is why many people get seasick.
People were also unhappy that the travel program was changed due to the liner's condition. Of the 17 stops promised to them, only 3 were made, and the tourists spent the remaining 20 days on a faulty vessel.
It is noted that the company's management had previously promised to return half the cost of the trips, but Russian tourists intend to challenge this decision.
