Russian pensioners are entitled to various social payments and benefits, but to receive them they may need to submit an application to the relevant authorities.
This was reported by Doctor of Law, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Professor Vadim Vinogradov.
He emphasized in a conversation with RT that one of these benefits is a monthly cash payment for federal beneficiaries.
Most citizens must submit an application to the Social Fund of Russia, the MFC, or through the government services portal.
Pensioners can also receive increased payments if they have disabled relatives dependent on them.
In addition, they have the right to subsidies for housing and communal services if expenses exceed the permissible share of the family's income.
When purchasing real estate, pensioners can apply for a tax deduction, which will allow them to return personal income tax for the year of purchase and the three previous years.
To do this, you need to submit an application to the tax office or through your personal account on the FTS website.
The expert reminded that in order to receive all these benefits and payments, it is necessary to collect and provide supporting documents.
