An entrepreneur from the Moscow region has obtained large compensation for a non-working fan.

A Russian has won a 300 million ruble lawsuit against the German automaker BMW.

The man purchased a BMW X7 in 2021 for 11 million rubles, Lenta.ru writes, citing a source.

The businessman bought the car in a full configuration, which included air conditioning for the backs of the front seats.

But the Russian got a car with a faulty option. The air conditioner creaked on the interior trim during operation and created unnecessary noise.

The owner went to court for compensation and a demand to provide a new car.

These events coincided with BMW's decision to leave the Russian market. The company decided to ignore the Russian's demand.

At first, the amount of the claim was almost 21 million rubles. But BMW's ignoring of the issue led to the penalty growing to 300 million rubles.
