Seventeen Russian TV channels demanded 2 undecillion rubles from Google.
The reason for the lawsuit was the blocking of Russian media accounts on the YouTube platform.
A Russian court has ordered Google to restore access to blocked accounts, RBC writes.
The channels mentioned in the lawsuit include Channel One, Moscow Media, TV Center, NTV, Russia 1, Russia 24, and several other Russian media outlets.
In total, 17 TV channels are involved in the lawsuit as third parties.
The court ruled that Google must restore access to Russian TV channels' YouTube accounts.
If the company fails to comply with this requirement within 9 months from the date the decision comes into force, it faces a fine of 100 thousand rubles for each day of delay.
The fine will double every 7 days until the court order is complied with.
At a recent hearing, the court noted that the case being considered involves a large number of zeros.
