It is noted that attackers can call people allegedly with the purpose of performing actions to normalize the quality of communication, update settings. They report on planned work, try to make the situation urgent so that the person performs the proposed actions.
According to Biychuk, after the actions are completed, the attackers may ask to provide the password or code from the operator’s office, State Services.
He explained that obtaining such information gives criminals the opportunity to commit fraud with money.
It is added that to prevent unpleasant situations, it is better to use antispam services, not to follow suspicious links, and not to disclose passwords.
