Business representatives are concerned about the influence of social networks on young people.

The association proposes to oblige platforms to verify the age of users using their passports.

Registered users will also be required to pass verification.

Platforms that fail to adhere to the restrictions may face suspension.

Yansukov noted that such measures will also help protect children under 14 from the negative influence of social networks.
