Scientists from the A.S. Pushkin Institute of the Russian Language have proposed an innovative approach to teaching students.
Experts believe that future media professionals will demonstrate better assimilation of material when using the sketchnoting method.
The Institute’s staff presented their findings in the proceedings of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “XXIV Cyril and Methodius Readings”.
The sketchnoting method involves using visual notes - various pictograms, arrows, illustrations, logos, etc. The creation of a sketch itself requires students to take a creative approach to the educational material.
This allows us to implement the interests of modern youth in the learning process, since students complete creative tasks with much greater interest than standard ones.
It is believed that this increases students' involvement in the learning process, which also increases the efficiency of memorizing information.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian Federation may approve a scholarship in the amount of the minimum wage for students of parents at universities.
