According to the agency, the risk of this disease appearing in the country has been excluded.
Rospotrebnadzor thus commented on the Brazilian Ministry of Health's announcement of the world's first victims of the infection. This was reported by RIA Novosti .
The agency’s report emphasizes that there are no transmission vectors, reservoirs, or sources of infection on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Therefore, the spread of Oropouche fever in Russia is excluded.
