Roskomnadzor commented on possible measures that could be taken against the video hosting service YouTube.

The agency believes that the service violates the rights of Russians and expresses disrespect for Russian citizens.

RIA Novosti journalists received this comment from representatives of Roskomnadzor.

The department believes that numerous violations by the video hosting service are a compelling reason to take action against it.

Roskomnadzor also emphasized that they have all the necessary tools to make this possible.

Youtube in Russia

Let us recall that earlier it became known how YouTube began to deal with official Russian channels.

Around 200 channels were blocked on the service, some of which belonged to artists, journalists and other creative people.

In turn, the head of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Alexander Khinshtein, noted in his Telegram channel that the reduction in the loading speed of the video hosting service is a forced measure that is intended to punish the administration of the web resource, and not Russians.
