Roskachestvo has identified counterfeit honey in chain stores
Experts have reported “fake” linden honey on the shelves of Russian stores.
The audit was conducted by Roskachestvo specialists. They compiled a negative report on the products that stores offer to Russians.
All brands of linden honey that participated in the study turned out to be of low quality. Experts identified signs of counterfeiting, as reported on the Roskachestvo website.
Products from 16 brands were checked. Of these, there was not a single sample that met the mandatory requirements.
Claims regarding the quality of products have been filed against OOO Medovaya Dolina, OOO Medovy Dom, and OOO TD Voyal.
During the work, experts identified the main methods of falsification. These include, for example, dilution with syrups.
In addition, there were cases where products did not match the declared botanical name, which is indicated by the pollen composition or diastase content.
