Rich People Buy 'Luxury Bomb Shelters' Amid Doomsday Amid Social Unrest
A Dallas-based company that provides doomsday bunkers has reported an increase in the number of clients.
The owner of Atlas Survival Shelters said many Americans are alarmed by the social unrest happening in the country and are buying up bunkers.
Ron Hubbard told Fox News Digital that half of Americans believe that a civil war could break out in the United States.
He also added that his company produces different types of shelters in case of pandemics, riots, nuclear fallout or terrorist attacks.
Hubbard confirmed that his business is now thriving despite the high cost of shelter.
Some of the well-appointed bunkers cost over a million dollars.
Hubbard says customers are willing to pay between $20,000 and $500,000 for the bunkers, and his phone is ringing off the hook.
Atlas Survival Shelters sells at least one finished shelter per day.
Hubbard added that wealthy Americans want a bunker that is like a hotel room with all the amenities.
In addition to the Dallas plant, a similar facility for European customers is located in Poland.
