Just recently, searchers from one of the squads made an amazing discovery.
We will talk about the discovery of the wreckage of a Soviet fighter and the remains of a pilot.
Members of the regional public search organization "Conscience" raised fragments of a fighter-bomber from the ground, as well as the remains of a pilot who died in the spring of 1945. TASS reports the details, citing the organization's director, Ruslan Khisamov.
The work took place near the village of Lipovka as part of the Historical Memory project.
It is noted that the remains of the pilot and parts of the aircraft were raised thanks to the support of the FSB Directorate for the Kaliningrad Region, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kaliningrad Region, and the administration of the Mamonovsky Urban District municipality.
According to Khisamov, the plane was 4 meters underground. When it was raised, specialists saw its number and armament.
He noted that the remains of the pilot, his clothes, weapons, and documents were also found there.
It is added that the remains belonged to a man born in 1920.
Earlier we reported on the number of children who drowned in the Moscow region since the beginning of summer.
